Enlightened Serum is effective on all types of hyperpigmentation including:

Hydroquinone is approved by the FDA to fade hyperpigmentation. In addition to the FDA approval, there is no clinical evidence that hydroquinone, when used correctly, causes harm.

To reduce resistance and get the best results, we recommend using Enlightened Serum in 4-month cycles, alternated in the off-months with a gentler pigment corrector, like Clarifying Serum.

While most clients report a more even skin tone and lighter pigmentation within the first 30 days, the best results can be seen after 90 days and beyond.

If used daily, as suggested, Enlightened Serum will last between 2-3 months on average.

Because Enlightened Serum contains hydroquinone, it is not considered safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding. A pregnancy/breastfeeding safe alternative to help lighten pigmentation and brighten the skin is our Clarifying Serum.
