If you’ve struggled with acne, you’ve likely heard a lot of theories as to what the culprit is behind your breakouts. And those theories have probably also been accompanied by a million different ways to “cure” your acne, none of which worked.

If this sounds like you, you aren’t alone. More than half of the population is struggling with acne well past adolescence.

Although acne is incredibly common, there are still so many unknowns. However, what causes acne has become much clearer over the years. Unfortunately, a lot of this information has become buried by misleading or incomplete content online, which can make clearing your skin nearly impossible.

The best way to solve any issue is to get to the root cause, and when it comes to acne, that’s especially true. So, in today’s podcast I’ll be sharing what truly causes acne (hint, it’s not poor hygiene, chocolate, or any of the other theories you’ve probably heard), and what you can do to get on the path to clear skin.

Podcast Highlights

  • The root cause of acne vs acne triggers
  • 6 main types of acne
  • Why acne isn’t just for adolescents (+ more myths)
