Emme Diane
Our Enlightened Serum effectively and efficiently fades hyperpigmentation and sun damage including acne scarring and even melasma, the most stubborn pigmentation of all.
Hydroquinone, the key ingredient in this powerful serum, is perfectly blended with its supportive, brightening counterparts; Kojic Acid, Azelaic Acid, and a cocktail of alpha hydroxy acids.
These ingredients work together to quickly lighten pigmentation and brighten dull skin, revealing your most radiant skin ever.
The most effective pigment corrector, this lightening ingredient decreases the production of melanocytes and increases the breakdown of melanin to fade hyperpigmented skin.
A tyrosinase inhibitor which helps to brighten the skin, this acid also gently exfoliates the skin and reduces inflammation.
By inhibiting the enzyme necessary for pigment production, this naturally derived corrector helps to fade pigmentation while offering antioxidant protection.
A hydrating alpha-hydroxy acid that smooths and brightens the skin while increasing ceramide production to restore the skin’s natural moisture barrier.
Enlightened Serum is effective on all types of hyperpigmentation including:
To reduce resistance and get the best results, we recommend using Enlightened Serum in 4-month cycles, alternated in the off-months with a gentler pigment corrector, like Clarifying Serum.
Because Enlightened Serum contains hydroquinone, it is not considered safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding. A pregnancy/breastfeeding safe alternative to help lighten pigmentation and brighten the skin is our Clarifying Serum.
While Enlightened Serum is safe to use on acne-prone skin (and very helpful in fading post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation from acne scarring), it is important to wait until the skin is consistently clear before incorporating it into your Clear Skincare Regimen to prevent unnecessary acne flare-ups.
