The terms “moisturizer” or “moisturizing” refer to oil moisture which is essential to bind the water moisture in the skin as it is notorious for evaporating, leaving the skin dry and vulnerable.

In order for a humectant to draw moisture into the skin, it needs a moisture source to pull from. While using Skin Quencher Gel on dry skin will somewhat help to hydrate the skin, for best results, it’s important to use Skin Quencher Gel on damp skin. Tap water contains harsh chemicals and drying minerals, so it’s best to source the water moisture from a hydrating toning, like our Calm Down Toner, before applying Skin Quencher Gel.

No, you can use the same moisturizer both day and night. Many companies offer moisturizers that are marketed as a day or night cream, but you just need one moisturizer which will equally benefit the skin at both times.
