The Sulfur Refining Mask is great for most skin types as it detoxifies, mildly exfoliates, and brightens the skin. Those with acne-prone skin benefit from its antibacterial properties as it helps to accelerate the clearing process and is a highly recommended addition to our Clear Skincare Set.

The Pumpkin Enzyme Mask is perfect for all skin types and helps to address many skin concerns. The Cucumber Cooling Mask is also appropriate for all skin types. When the skin is feeling dry, stressed, inflamed or irritated this mask provides instant relief and comfort. Whether the skin is dry from traveling, compromised due to a sunburn, or just craves intense moisture and some TLC, this reparative, calming mask instantly soothes and restores the skin.

We encourage you to get into the habit of masking once a week for best results. In addition, the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask can even be used several times a week if desired. The Cucumber Cooling Mask can be used daily when the skin is severely compromised, or several times a week for chronically dry skin. For the Sulfur Refining Mask, we suggest that you use it once a week, however oilier skin types can use the mask twice weekly as long as the skin is not dehydrated.

To allow the enzymatic action of the pumpkin puree to dissolve the dull skin, it’s best to leave the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask on the skin for 15-20 minutes.

The Cooling Cucumber Mask should also be left on the skin for 15-20 minutes to effectively soothe, hydrate, and calm the skin.

The Sulfur Refining Mask should be left on the skin for a maximum of 3 minutes. In order to work effectively, a clay mask only needs to remain on the skin for a short period of time and should be removed before it dries. We have found that 3 minutes is ideal for most skin types but if you have drier skin remove the mask after 1-2 minutes. 

Yes, this is called “multi-masking”! Since different facial masks offer different benefits and results, it is sometimes hard to choose just one. The great news is that with multi-masking, you can have it all!

Multi-Masking can be performed in various ways, however here’s 4 easy steps to making the mask magic happen:

Step 1: Cleanse the skin; be sure to perform a double cleanse if you are wearing makeup (use ice if I have recommended it for your skin).
Step 2: Apply a large grape size amount of the Sulfur Refining Mask to the skin and let it sit for 3 minutes ONLY!
Step 3: Rinse and follow with a large grape size amount (4 pumps) of either Pumpkin Enzyme Mask to brighten or Cucumber Cooling Mask to hydrate and let it sit on the skin for 15-20 minutes.
Step 4: Rinse again and follow with your toner and the rest of your skin care regimen.

Now, if you want ALL the benefits of each mask, you could opt for using all 3, in this order:
1. Sulfur Refining Mask to deep pore cleanse
2. Pumpkin Enzyme Mask to exfoliate and brighten
3. Cucumber Cooling Mask to rehydrate and replenish

While applying various masks at the same time is a common multi-masking method to help target different areas of the face based on the skin concern in that area, I do not recommend it. This is because how long each mask should be left on the skin can dramatically differ, and if not removed at the correct time, it can lead to skin problems such as dehydration, skin irritation, or unbalanced skin.
